The monotype results from printing without engraving.

 

It is a painting executed on glass of which only  testifies to the trace left by pressing on the paper.

The artist modulates the light on a dark background using various tools, in order to create contrasts specific to the chiaroscuro technique. 

The relationship between gesture and material is light, free, subtle. 

Magic of light bursting out of darkness.
