It was after following the sea departures of the Transat Jacques Vabre, the Route du Rhum and the Vendée Globe that Marie-Noëlle Métel decided to devote a theme to the world of sailing.

The skippers' passionate gaze, her interviews with Franck Cammas, Thomas Coville, Alain Gauthier ... the power of these sea birds, the spirit of challenge that drives an entire team seduce her.

In this context, she met Yvan Zedda, then Gilles Martin-Raget, renowned professional photographers in the sailing world.

His work was then noticed by Fanch Moal, a Breton painter whose reputation is well established.
